Day at the Fair!

Yesterday we took Mason to the Tulare County Fair. Of course we have been having such wonderful weather and the opening day of the fair it was hot! We were still able to have fun. Mason loved seeing all of the animals. We were even lucky enough to see a baby cow just minutes after it was born. Mason and Sam thought that the best thing ever was to pull the hay out of the hay bails that we were sitting on while eating lunch. It is amazing what can entertain and make a 2 year old laugh. Good times!!!

37 Weeks!

Well to our surprise Carson flipped back on us. He is now head down! His head is still pretty high so the Dr. told us that there is still a chance that he will flip back. She will check his position again next week. We are starting to make some progress so looks like we will be staying close to home until he arrives. Keep praying that he remains head down. I was not really looking forward to having a c-section. I know that it is not in my hands and he will come what ever way the Lord wants him to. Just 3 more weeks and then we get to meet the little guy.

Trip to San Francisco

Over the weekend we took one last minute trip as a family of 3! We knew with Carson being breech there was not much chance of me going into labor. We decided to head to San Francisco. We spent Saturday afternoon at Fisherman's Wharf and then had dinner with our sister-in-law and Mason's cousins. He loved playing soccer with them in the backyard. Sunday morning we headed back to Fisherman's Wharf for some more fun. Mason loved the sea lions, the carousel, and the beach. That afternoon we headed to AT&T Park to watch the Giants and the Dodgers. It was an awesome weekend! We spent some much needed quality family time together.

Today we took some quick family pictures before Carson arrives. We cannot believe that our little family of 3 will be growing to 4 is just a few short weeks!

36 Week Update!

We are on the home stretch! We had a doctor's appointment followed by an ultrasound this morning. We were shocked to find out that Carson decided to flip on us. He is now breech!! He has been head down the entire pregnancy and sometime over the last few weeks he flipped. Looks like we will be having a September baby. There is still a chance that he could flip but the Dr. is telling us there is only about a 10% chance. We were bummed that we were not able to get any good 3D pictures. He had his hands completely in front of his face. He wants us to wait to see what he looks like until he makes his grand entrance. I am OK with having a c-section. I know that it is in God's hands and everything will be OK. We cannot wait to meet Carson. Once we have a set date I will post it.

Baby Shower!

On Saturday my mom and my sister through me a wonderful baby shower. It was so fun celebrating the upcoming arrival of Carson. It was a wonderful morning surrounded by family and friends. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. I cannot wait for everyone to meet Carson!

Summer is over!

Wow! I cannot believe that summer is over. We have not done much this summer aside from getting ready for the arrival of Carson. We spent many days at the park, swimming at Grandma's, hanging out with friends and being lazy. We are looking forward to MOPS starting up again next week. Mason has started The Little Gym again after taking the summer off. We are hoping to take one last getaway before Carson arrives. Only 5 1/2 weeks left!
