Snow Trip 2010

Yesterday we took the boys to the snow for the 1st time! Mason was so excited to go to the snow and even more excited that his cousins were going as well. We went to Grants Grove and played in the play area. Mason had so much fun playing and sledding down a small hill. The kids all had sleds but Mason preferred to go down on his bottom. I really had no idea how much fun Mason would have! Carson was really not interested in the snow. The kids played for about an hour and a half and then we took a break for some lunch. We planned on playing some more but it was starting to rain and we knew a storm was coming. We do not have snow chains so we decided to head home. We will definitely be going back again before winter is over!

Christmas Time!

Christmas Eve: We were very thankful again this year to be able to host Christmas Eve. We started the night off with Church followed by presents and then dinner. Ben had to work but was able to go in late. (Poor guy had not been feeling well over the last couple of days. As he was getting ready for work he began to get the chills, run a fever and get a horrible sinus headache). He ended up staying home from work that night. Not how he wanted to spend Christmas with the boys.

Christmas Day: Mason woke up before 6am ready to open presents. Carson was still asleep due to going to bed so late the night before. We were able to hold Mason off until about 7am. We then woke up Carson who was really not ready to get up! Mason so so excited to get a big giant fire truck! The kids opened their presents and then we enjoyed a very relaxing day. Ben was still sick and Mason was not feeling all that great either. Later that night we headed to my parents for a casual dinner.

 Santa even went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to deliver Mason and Carson a pillow pet!

 Christmas with Cousins: Mason was so excited when we told him his cousins Max and Gabe were coming for a visit. Monday night we enjoyed a yummy ham dinner followed by more presents. The kids had a blast playing together.

Yesterday we let Mason go out and jump in the puddles and play in the rain! After 4 days of straight rain we had exhausted all of our indoor activities. Mason loved jumping but once he was really wet he was done! We are very thankful for a dry day today.

Christmas with the Feierbach's

Sunday we had our annual Christmas with the Feierbach Family. We enjoyed a yummy dinner followed by Mason and Sam making cookies for us :) The kids had a great time playing, making a craft and of course opening their presents! It was a fun night filled with great memories. Thanks Feierbach's for hosting...next year it is our turn :)

Christ Kids Christmas Program

Last Wednesday Mason had his Christmas Chapel at Preschool. After hearing all the kids sing we gathered together for cookies and milk. All the kids did great singing their songs that they practiced so hard on! Once the kids finished singing Pastor Brian gave a Christmas message.

Christmas Tree Lane!

Last Sunday we headed to Fresno for our annual drive down Christmas Tree Lane with the Mendez Family. We started with dinner at BJ's Restaurant and then headed for the lane. Dinner was yummy as always and the kids had fun exchanging gifts. As we headed toward the lane we realized that a ton of other people had our same idea! We quickly remembered that last year we went during the week. It took us an hour just to get to the lane. The kids did great all things considering. Once we got on the lane Mason loved all the lights! It was such a fun trip and we cannot wait to do it again next year!
