Febuary in Review

Wow...I cannot believe that we are at the end of February! This month has literally flown by. Mason finished his first month of mini-preschool. He has really grown to love it! He enjoys playing with his friends Sam and Ryan as well as his new friends that he has made. We signed Mason up to play soccer through the City of Visalia. He will have his first game in March. He is so excited and he wants to wear his soccer shoes everywhere. We are looking forward to watching him play. Mason also got to experience his first clown at a play group birthday party. He was not too sure about it. He got a balloon lion made and he got his first face painting...a soccer ball!

Carson continues to grow and amaze us everyday. He is 5 months old today! We cannot believe how fast time is flying by. He loves to eat, laugh, smile and interact with his brother. He sat up on his own for the first time last week. He still leans pretty far forward that we cannot leave him there for very long or he ends up spitting up. He is learning to hold his own sippy cup as well. He finally slept through the night the last 3 nights! I think we finally have a good routine down!





Last week we started our backyard rennovation! It has been a huge project and has consumed most of Ben's days off. We decided that with such a small backyard the grass was more of a pain. Ben and I pulled out all the old bark, pea gravel and grass in preparation for more cement. We extended our origional patio and now all of our backyard is cement. It makes the backyard look so much bigger! Our next project...as soon as the rain stops is to plant the trees and plants that we have bought and to lay new bark. We cannot wait to be able to enjoy our backyard again. Mason got an early birthday present from us...a new play house! He cannot wait for the backyard to be cleaned up so he can play in it.
