Moving!

Some of you may know that we put out house on the market. This is not something that we wanted to do but after much prayer we realized that is was financially best for our family. On Monday we received a full price offer...after only being on the market 2 weeks! We have to wait for the bank to approve the price due to it being a short sale. We are hopefully that they will accept. This has been very hard on Ben and I. We are very sad to be leaving our 1st house! We have found a house to rent thanks to a friend. We are very excited that we will be able to stay in the Oak Grove district! This was something that was very important to Ben and I when we were looking for places to rent. We are happy that Mason will be able to go to school with all of his friends. We are also looking forward to the house being right down the street from a great park and walking distance to the school. We are excited about what is to come for our family. We know God has great plans.

Cubbies!

Last week Mason started Awana at Church. We really debated whether or not we should start him this year. Wednesdays are preschool days for us and Awana runs until 8pm. We decided to go ahead and start him and see how it went. He did GREAT and loved it. He had his verse memorized by Thursday morning as wells as the Cubbies motto! We are so proud of him! Way to go Mason...

Mason's 1st Day of Preschool!

Today was Mason's 1st day of preschool at Christ Kids. He is in the red room with his 2 teachers, Miss Carissa and Miss Elizabeth. He has been so excited all summer long about starting preschool. He walked right in and starting playing at the kitchen. I guess it is safe to say he is ready for school. He gets picked up right before lunch, he was not very happy about that today! He wanted to stay at eat with all of his friends. Looks like we might have to start packing his lunch! It is a good sign when he does not want to leave. We are excited to embark on this new journey and we look forward to what the school year has to offer.

Carson's 1st Day @ The Little Gym

If is finally Carson's turn to attend The Little Gym. He was the youngest in his class and the only one not walking. Maybe it will get him walking :) He had a ton of fun dancing to the music and crawling around.

Carson loves to play in the bathroom. He has finally discovered the toilet paper. The funny thing is we have pictures of Mason doing the exact same thing at his age.

Getting Caught Up!

Well, we are officially in our last week of summer vacation at the Corner House! We are officially entering the world of school! Mason starts preschool next week. We cannot believe how big he has gotten. He is so excited to be starting his "new" school. He will be attending Christ Kids 2 days a week. It will be hard not having him at home but we know he is very ready for school. He is also going to be starting Awana next month at Church. Ben and I are looking forward to helping out in his class. Our summer was mostly spent at home hanging out by Grandpa and Grandma's pool. We did escape for a few small trips. We hit Pismo Beach, Ventura and Roseville. Our summer was filled with birthday parties, play dates, lazy days at home and swimming. It was a great summer and we are sad to see it end.

Summer Fun!

4th of July

Most of 4th of July was spent with just the boys and I...Ben had to work. We started the day off with Church....swimming at Grandmas...and naps. After naps we headed to the Feierbach's for a little 4th of July BBQ. Nothing better than swimming...food...fireworks! Ben joined us when he got off work. Mason was not a fan of the fireworks this year. He did a couple sparklers but as soon as the big ones started he freaked out. That was the end of our fun night :( We headed home and watched the big fireworks coming from the stadium in Mason's room. We had a good view from his room and apparently those we OK to watch. We still had a blast! Thanks Feierbach's for another fun 4th of July!!
