CHRISTMAS 2008

Whew Christmas is over! It was a whirlwind couple of days but we would not have it any other way. We were blessed in so many ways this Christmas season. This Christmas season was so fun with Mason being a little older. We did many things during the month of December. We saw Santa, made cookies, had a party with friends, a party with play group and of course drove around many nights to look at all of the lights. Mason's favorite was the blow-up Tigger and Pooh. Christmas Morning
Mason was so excited to see that Santa had brought him a big wheels bike and a kitchen (he loves to help me cook). Unfortunately he could not test out his new bike on Christmas because it rained all day. He has enjoyed riding it in the house. We spent the morning just the 3 of us. We played with all of Mason's new toys. We relaxed and then starting to cook for Christmas dinner.

Christmas Day

We hosted Christmas Dinner for the Emmons and the Corner Families. It was the most relaxing Christmas ever. We enjoyed good company, great food, and good times! Mason loved spending time with his Nana and Papa, Grandma and Bapa and Nini Megan.

Christmas Eve

We started the evening by attending Church. We heard a wonderful message about the true meaning of the 12 Days of Christmas. After Church we headed to the Emmons House for our annual Christmas Eve dinner and pajama exchange. We decided to let Mason open his gifts from Grandma and Bapa early for fear of Mason having overload on Christmas (it did not help much). Mason loved getting presents early. It was a great Christmas Eve!

CHRISTMAS COOKIES

This morning Mason and I made cookies for Santa. Mason's attention only lasted through the first batch but he sure had fun! He was more interested in getting his picture taken. He literally would pose for the camera and say "cheese". What a little ham. After we made cookies we decided to watched Shrek the Halls. It was a great Christmas Eve morning!

Last week Ben's work had a Christmas party for the kids. Santa made his entrance in style and then gave each child a present. Mason was not liking Santa again but loved opening his present.

CHRISTMAS WITH FRIENDS

Last week we had some friends over for pizza for a little Christmas party. The kids had fun playing together. It was a fun and relaxing night with friends. Sometimes I think that we get so caught up in all of the Christmas activities that we forget to slow down and enjoy fellowship with friends.

FAMILY PICTURES

The Friday after Thanksgiving we took family pictures. Amie with Bella Vita Kids did an amazing job! There were so many cute ones that it will be hard to pick our favorite. Our entire family has not had family pictures taken since our wedding 4 1/2 years ago. We were long over due for some new picture. I went a little crazy with all the pictures that I posted but there were so many cute ones I had to post them all! Enjoy.
