Fun with Great Friends!

Last week my best friend Stacey came for a visit with her 2 kids, Lexi and Gavin. The kids had so much fun playing in the backyard, swimming and having a slumber party! 5 kids under the age of 5 made for some crazy times but overall it was a blast! Thanks guys for coming down to see us.

VBS 2011

The last week of July Mason attend Vacation Bible School at Calvary Worship Center. Mason was invited to attend by our wonderful friends Manuel and Rachel. He had an absolute blast learning about Jesus! Nothing makes Ben and I happier then hearing our boys excited to learn about Jesus. The Sunday after all the kids performed for the parents. As you can tell by the pictures Mason was a little on the shy side :) He was sad when the week was over but is looking forward to next year!!

San Diego 2011

In July we enjoyed a family trip to San Diego. The main purpose of the trip was to attend my cousin Tiffany's wedding. The kids enjoyed swimming at the most amazing pool at the La Costa resort and playing at the beach. I attended the wedding with my parents while Ben took the boys swimming and out to dinner. It was a little on the stressful side but that is to be expected when traveling with a 4 year old, a 22 month old and a 5 week old! Overall it was a  fun family trip!!

Water Day with Play Group

Yesterday we hosted a water play day at our house for play group. It was so much fun watching all the kids play! We were blessed with very nice weather...such a change from last week. It was such a fun morning!

Swimming with Cousins!

The boys had so much fun spending the entire week with their cousins, Max and Gabe. The boys went swimming, played in Papa and Nana's backyard and saw Cars 2. It was a great week!

4th of July Weekend

We started the 4th of July weekend off with a BBQ and swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The boys have become little fish! On the 4th we went to the Feierbach's house for their annual block party. We look forward to this event every year. The kids had so much fun playing in the kiddie pool and on the water slide. This year we got a taco truck to cater dinner....so yummy. We were hoping the Mason's fear of fireworks would be over this year....not so much. As soon as they started he bolted for the house. We quickly packed up and headed home. We have learned we need to leave before they start. We had such a great weekend spent with family and great friends!!
