Halloween Wrap Up!

Halloween Night! This year we decided to take the kids to the Harvest Festival at Mason's preschool. Mason had fun playing the games, bouncing in the bounce house, getting his face painted and trunk or treating. Afterwards we came back to the house and enjoyed homemade Chile with all our family. The guys watched the World Series and while we passed out candy. It was a nice low key night.

Play Group Halloween Party! Mandy hosted our annual Halloween Party for play group again this year. This is always such a fun event. It is so fun to see all the kids in their costumes. The kids played, made trick or treat bags and then even got to trick or treat. It was a very fun morning. We look forward to it every year!

Halloween Party with Preschool! Mason got to have his 1st Halloween party with preschool this year. He is enjoying school so much! After the party the kids walked to the convalescent home next door to trick or treat.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch with Play Group! This was our final trip of the year to the pumpkin patch. 3 times is a lot! Of course Mason did not mind going multiple times.



Arrrr...

This year we decided to make Mr. Potato Head Pumkins. Makes it very nice to not have to cut and clean out the inside of the pumkin. Mason wanted to make a pirate! So glad someone thought of this great idea for pumpkin decorating with small kids!



Vossler Farms Pumpkin Patch!

We have made 2 trips to the pumpkin patch so far this fall. We have gone with our MOPS group as well as Mason's preschool. We will possibly go once more with our play group. The kids had so much fun on the hay ride, playing in the corn and going through the corn maze. We love the pumpkin patch and do not mind going multiple times :)

Carson's 1st Birthday Party!

We cannot believe that a year has gone by! We celebrated Carson's birthday with family and friends! It was so nice to celebrate on his actual birthday. We had a fun filled baseball themed party. Thank you to everyone that made his birthday a ball!!

Las Vegas!

In September we took the family to Las Vegas for the annual CHP softball tournament. We brought Grandma and Grandpa along to help out with the kids. They were so helpful the entire trip. We even got to go out with some friends on Saturday night. We spent Friday all together, we shopped and ate dinner at Pinks Hot Dogs. We took in the water show at the Bellagio and then called it a night. The games started 1st thing Saturday morning. Ben's team did great, they made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs. The weather was cooler than years past but still a little warm for the kids. They made it to 2 of the games and then spent the rest of the time hanging out by the pool. The kids had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. The took a trip to the M&M Store and ate at Hard Rock Cafe (they got their 1st Hard Rock shirts!) Sunday night we let Grandma and Grandpa have some fun alone in Vegas. We took the kids to MGM Grand to see the Lions and then ate dinner at Rainforest Cafe. It was a great trip!

Moving!

Some of you may know that we put out house on the market. This is not something that we wanted to do but after much prayer we realized that is was financially best for our family. On Monday we received a full price offer...after only being on the market 2 weeks! We have to wait for the bank to approve the price due to it being a short sale. We are hopefully that they will accept. This has been very hard on Ben and I. We are very sad to be leaving our 1st house! We have found a house to rent thanks to a friend. We are very excited that we will be able to stay in the Oak Grove district! This was something that was very important to Ben and I when we were looking for places to rent. We are happy that Mason will be able to go to school with all of his friends. We are also looking forward to the house being right down the street from a great park and walking distance to the school. We are excited about what is to come for our family. We know God has great plans.

Cubbies!

Last week Mason started Awana at Church. We really debated whether or not we should start him this year. Wednesdays are preschool days for us and Awana runs until 8pm. We decided to go ahead and start him and see how it went. He did GREAT and loved it. He had his verse memorized by Thursday morning as wells as the Cubbies motto! We are so proud of him! Way to go Mason...
