Nap Time!!

The last couple of days Mason has not been taking naps. This was sort of our decision. Mason has always been a great napper 3 hours, plus. However, it was a huge fight to get him to go to bed at night. Sometimes not getting him down until 10pm or 10:30pm. Now with no naps he has out by 7:30pm. It has made much more relaxing and stress free nights.

Today with all of the activities that we had going on he just could not hold on. He crashed out about 3:45pm on my lap. We only let him sleep for short time so it would not totally mess up bedtime...bad idea. He was not a happy camper the rest of the afternoon. Thankfully the half hour power nap did not mess up bedtime. He was still out by 8pm.

4th of July Party with Play Group

Today we had our annual 4th of July celebration with our play group. It was so much fun! All of the kids loved playing outside and enjoying yummy festive treats.

Pool Time Fun!

With as hot as it has been in the afternoon the only thing to do is play in the pool! Mason got a whale pool for his birthday and he loves it.

Show Time at the Little Gym

Earlier this month Mason had his last class at Little Gym for this semester. It was so cute at the end when the teacher handed out metals. He learned so much over the semester. He loved gym class!

Tour of Fire Station 55

Today we took a tour of our local Fire Station with our play group. The fire men at Fire Station 55 gave a great tour! The kids loved checking out all of the gear, the living space and most of all the loved getting to squirt the water hose. Mason had a blast and he even got to sit in the drivers seat of the fire truck. What a great day!

Day at the Zoo

This post is coming a little late. My good friend Heidi and I took the boys to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo last month. They loved looking at all of the animals. We finished off the day with a picnic lunch. We had a blast!

It's a.....

BOY!!!!
Our family is very excited to announce that Mason will have a baby brother. We found out on Friday that we will be adding another boy to our family. We are so excited and cannot wait to meet Carson David. Our due date still remains the same...Oct. 5th.
